Simple Asian Chicken Salad Recipe

As someone who is always on the go, between driving the kids around, to running errands, attending events, road trips, and visiting friends near and far I often forget to eat during the day unless I pack food to take on the road with me.

These Bentgo Salad containers are perfect for me to take lunch on-the-go without my salad getting soggy and messy.

One of my favorite salads (and my daughter's favorite too) is a simple Asian Chicken Salad.

Ingredients:

  • Roasted chicken
  • Mixed lettuce
  • Carrots
  • Red cabbage
  • Asian noodles
  • Mandarins
  • Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing

Directions:

Cut up the carrots into thin strips, and the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Add the lettuce to the bottom section of the Bentgo Salad container.

Top with red cabbage and carrot.

Place the white sectioned part of the container on top of the salad and add the remaining ingredients to each of the larger sections - the noodles, mandarins, and chicken.

Pour salad dressing into the small container in the center, and ensure the lid is secured properly.

And there you have it, a simple Asian chicken salad, which is perfect for on-the-go.

I actually made this one for my daughter, she thought it was the coolest thing ever and asked if I'd make her a salad like this for school once a week.
