Packing Lunches for Picky Eaters
Alicia is a mother of 2 boys, model, and entrepreneur. She loves the daily chaos of raising kids, auditioning, and working from home. She never thought she’d be the only girl in the house, but wouldn’t have it any other way!
I think we can all agree that being a mom is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world! But along with those rewards comes stress. I have had the luxury of staying at home with my little guys, but I also work from home, so there's a lot of juggling that goes on around my house!
One thing I struggle with from time to time, is my sons picky eating. When he started school, my husband and I were a little concerned about what foods to send with him for lunch. I was determined to come up with a plan to get my little guy all the nutrients he needed and a variety of different foods to pick from while under someone else’s care. Not an easy task!
I learned that including Parker and allowing him to help pick out his lunch was a huge help. Almost turning it into a little game. I lay out some options and together we fill each section of his Bentgo Lunchbox and talk about the different colors and shapes of the food we’re including. Keeping his lunch simple yet filled with options was a huge success (for the both of us) and allowing him to have a voice in what he wants to eat each day.
