How can I prevent mold and odors?

  • Fill a clean spray bottle with white distilled vinegar
  • Spray the affected areas and let it soak for 2–4 hours
  • Scrub with warm water and a soft brush
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry completely

How do I avoid broken latches on my Bentgo Kids Lunch Box or other latch-style products?

Latch trouble? It usually comes down to how the lid is being closed. If the latches on your Bentgo Kids Lunch Box—or similar styles like our Chill, Pop, or Stainless Steel boxes—are breaking, it’s often because they’re being forced shut before the lid is fully in place.

Always close the lid completely first, then snap the latches into place. If the latches are clicked down before the lid is properly aligned, pushing the lid down can stress and eventually crack the plastic hinges.

This small habit shift goes a long way! It helps protect the latches, keeps your box secure, and extends the life of your lunch box.
